Witness Appeal: Serious RTC, Huddersfield

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision that happened in Huddersfield yesterday morning.

The incident happened at the Queensgate junction of Zetland Street shortly before 11:45am and involved a van and a pedestrian.

The Peugeot Boxer van was travelling east towards the roundabout in the second lane of the dual carriageway when it was involved in the collision near a crossing.

The male pedestrian, aged in his 20s, suffered serious head injuries as a result of the collision.
