Wednesday, 6 March, 2024The Major Collision Enquiry Team is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Kirkthorpe near Wakefield this morning (Wednesday, 6 March).Police were called at 8:17am to a report of a collision involving a Honda motorcycle and a Yamaha moped on Kirkthorpe Lane, Kirkthorpe.
Friday 6 October 2023  Police investigating some thefts from shops in the Castleford area would like to speak with Mitchell England regarding these matters.   England, who is 28 and from Castleford is described as being about 5ft 9 ins tall and of slim build. He has tattoos of names on both arms.

Friday 16 February 2024The brother of murdered Leeds businessman John Luper has made an emotional plea for information on the 20-year anniversary of his death.Mr Luper was 57 years old when he was killed during a robbery at his home in Sandmoor Drive, Alwoodley, on February 16, 2004.
