Counter Terrorism Policing North East provides the main response to the terrorism threat in the North East Region. In addition they will ensure that tackling terrorism, in particular the Prevent and Protect strands of the Government's Counter Terrorism Strategy

Thursday 12 October 2023 Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision in Keighley.   Officers were called to Hainworth Wood Road North at 4.30pm yesterday (11 October) to reports two vehicles were in collision.

Friday 20th October 2023 Officers from Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT), in partnership with Leeds City Council Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Enforcement Officers recently conducted two Road Safety Operations, across three Leeds East NPT ward areas.
Tuesday 6th February 2024On Friday 2nd February 2024, Leeds East Neighbourhood Policing Team officers conducted further targeted patrols across the ward, to address the increased reports in Burglary crime occurrences.
