Appeal: Motorcycle Robbery, Cleckheaton

Police have released an image of a motorbike that was stolen during a robbery in Cleckheaton.

The motorcyclist was travelling along Hunsworth Lane and when he stopped at a red light on 15 July 2021 at around 11.40pm.

When he stopped at the light, he was approached by two unknown males who were travelling in a black estate car. 

The men assaulted the victim by pushing him off his bike, before riding off on it towards Whitechapel Road.

The man was not seriously injured during the incident. The motorbike is described a black and yellow Sym Wolf, registration YG14UHP.

Officers are keen to identify the three individuals who were travelling in the black estate car around the time of the incident, as they may be able to assist with enquiries. 

One man who got out the vehicle is described as wearing a light grey hoodie, around 6ft tall with dark hair and in his 20s. 

The second who got out the car is described as around 6ft tall, in his 20s and wearing a hooded top.

The third person remained in the vehicle during the robbery, following the motorcycle onto Whitechapel Road.
