Appeal for Information Following Serious Assault, Bradford

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Bradford Town Centre.

The incident occurred around 1.10am in the early hours of Thursday morning (28/10) on the junction of Southbrook Terrace and Great Horton Road.

The victim, a 35-year-old male approached another male looking to engage in conversation.

The suspect proceeded to assault the male with what was believed to be a small knife, causing serious facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

The suspect has been described as Asian male, late thirties, large build with dark mid length hair with a beard and moustache.

He was believed to be wearing a grey tracksuit top, black tracksuit bottoms.

Enquiries suggest the suspect may have got out of a red taxi at the location prior to the assault.
