Appeal: Detectives Investigating After Stabbing on Great Horton Road, Bradford

Detectives are investigating following a stabbing in Bradford last night.

Police were called at 23:04 (3 February) to reports of a man being injured on Great Horton Road.

A male suspect, armed with a knife, assaulted another male.

The male suspect fled the scene and ran towards Grove Terrace.

A 38-year-old man suffered a serious injury to his leg and was taken to hospital via ambulance where he underwent treatment.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his late 30s, was clean shaven and had a distinctive large head and possible facial deformity. He was wearing black jeans, black hoody with hood up and black trainers.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
