Street Angels and Police street briefing

Every Friday evening Bradford City NPT team and the Street Angels come together to ensure the your evening can be as safe as can be.  Street Angels can be easily identified in their yellow jackets

Who are Street Angels?

Street Angels was set up by the city centre churches in 2007, and we welcome volunteers of all faiths and none.

Street Angels operate on Friday and Saturday nights, usually from 8pm to 2am. We patrol in groups of three or four. Our route takes in the West End, Kirkgate and Bradford Interchange.

We can:

  • Give directions
  • Summon help if you are concerned about your health or safety
  • Phone your parents/friends and provide a safe place for you to wait for them
  • Offer tea, coffee and a listening ear
  • If you request it, a member of the team can pray with you
