Tuesday 14 November 2023 Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Shelf on 20 October can sadly confirm a second person has died.   The collision happened at 11.17pm on 20 October on Brow Lane where a white Seat Ibiza collided with a wall.  
Thursday 18 April 2024 Tobias Berry, who was previously the subject of a missing person appeal has been found safe and well. Thank you to all those who shared the appeal and assisted with enquiries to locate him.

The Force Planning Unit is a specialist department within the Protective Services Operations Division based at Carr Gate, Wakefield.
